Mechanical Draughtsman Course


ACCESS TITLE
School-leaving certificate.
DURATION
300 hours divided as follows: 120 hours of lecture and 180 hours of apprenticeship.
LOCATION
Lessons will take place at the operative headquarters of Istituto Politecnico Keplero in Termoli (CB), in Via Tremiti, 5.
FINAL CERTIFICATE
According to Law no. 845/78, L.R. 10/95 e DGR 416/2015 the Region Molise issues the specialisation licence for Mechanical Draughtsman after passing the final exam.
TITLE VALIDITY
The title has validity in Italy
TEACHING CONTENTS
Lessons are divided into lectures and practice in the following fields:
PRODUCT DESIGN DEVELOPMENT;
3D PRINT.
EDUCATIONAL GOALS
The mechanical draughtsman is able to realise the technical development of a product’s details, by identifying the architectural components and related productive technical solutions. The technician is in charge of the computerised technical plan in 2D/3D through a specific computer programme: he/she carries out and controls the creation of the 2D/3D print.
TESTS
There will be tests (written, oral and practical) on each subject. At the end of the course there will be the Qualifying Examination according to the regional law in force.
TEACHERS
Teachers are professionals with many years of experience in this course.
RECOGNITION OF TRAINING CREDITS
The training credit is the hourly value assignable to competences acquired by the participant by determining the customisation and the reduction of the course duration. So, if the user already has some of the skills acquired by other training courses and/or work experience, he/she can only attend upgrading courses: in that case the duration of the course cannot be shorter than 70 hours (as stated in the project specification included in the Regional System of the Professional Competences – Cod. 19.65).
FOREIGN STUDENTS
Foreign students should have a regular residence permit and a good knowledge of Italian (level A2) that will be reinforced through additional lessons.
